BED COMPLEMENT

Hospital Harmony

The Adapta bedside table and bedside table has been designed with one fundamental purpose: compatibility with hospital beds, whether on a ward, ICU or other healthcare units.

With several features designed to complement the needs of bedridden patients, the combination of IMO tables and beds creates hospital environments where patients want to be and professionals like to care.

Robust Architecture

Metallic structure painted in epoxy, with tops, sides and fronts in phenolic (high pressure thermolaminate).

Bed table with gas spring lift, with 845-1115 mm lift stroke.

ERGONOMICS AND ADAPTATION

Compact and Practical

As its name suggests, Adapta is a table that stands out for its adaptability to any space. Extremely compact, it can be inserted in the smallest spaces, without ever losing the functionality of a high-quality bed table.

Adapta as a whole is designed to meet the needs of patients and carers in any hospital situation.

One-Hand Adjustment

The same quality parameters applied to IMO beds are universally used in the construction of all other products and components.

This becomes apparent in the handling of Adapta, with its smooth movement and easily adjustable tray.

EARLY MOBILITY

Self-Confidence

An important factor in reducing the length of hospital stays is the recovery of the patient’s confidence in their motor skills, a task that can be assisted by the Adapta tables.

Simply constructed, the patient can by himself adjust the bedside table next to the bed easily as it is very light. The smooth opening of the door and drawer to both sides helps access stored items, while the recess for placing bottles vertically also makes it easier to access them.

Activity Board

The bed table is also designed to increase patient autonomy, allowing the height, length and inclination to be adjusted without assistance, making it easier for them to practice activities and meals while improving their psychological condition, degraded with hospitalisation.

The low-profile fifth wheel allows easy fitting of the Adapta bed table under the bed and the cup-holder independent of the inclination of the tray increases comfort.

INFECTION CONTROL

Resistant to Cleaning

The Adapta table has sides, doors and tops made of phenolic (high pressure thermolaminate). This characteristic, in comparison with products made of wood and its derivatives, guarantees an incomparable robustness and longevity.

The electrostatic epoxy paint finish, with prior anti-corrosion treatment, makes the product suitable for hospital cleaning and disinfection with alcohol-based detergents and damp cloths with lukewarm water.

Total Disinfection

The simple and minimalist design of Adapta makes cleaning tasks easier.
No hard-to-reach corners to prevent dirt from accumulating and the interior with a removable shelf and plastic tray makes deep cleaning possible.

CONTINUOUS PROTECTION

Quality Wheels

The Adapta table has a balanced structure, which makes it very easy to move.

Holds four Ø65 mm double wheels with local brake and a Fifth Wheel to stabilise the table when the dining table is open.

Protection Against Damage

Table equipped with corner protections against accidental shocks. Adapta drawer fronts and doors have low-profile stainless steel handles to reduce the space between the table and the bed or building.

The tray has a lip to prevent objects falling when it is reclined.
